Default Anyone guess the valve and its use?

Anyone know what this came from and what it's used for? It is Russian Mil-spec so I'm told and used for hifi applications. I'll post the answer after a few guesses

Is it a special design for Vladimir Putin's valve amp?

Yes, it's likely of Voshkod manufacture as the tell-tale grooves in the glass are there. It was intended for military applications and manufactured between the 1970's and 1980's.

My first guess was going to be a radiation level radio transmitter at Chernobyl but I'll stick with my Putin valve amp.
