    Default Quad Z2

Bought a pair Quad Z2 speakers before Christmas to replace the Quad 21l's, nicely run in now, these are amazing speakers, probably best I've ever had.
Ribbon tweeter clear and sweet with no sibilance on any vocals, good bass. Took a while to run in. Only regret should have bought the Z3.
Superb with 99 mono's, but amazing with little Croft integrated,

I have the Z3 here and they are very good indeed. Started off being shouty and quacky but after 2 days of thrashing, they have smoothed out nicely.

Yes thought I had slipped up for a couple of weeks, no integration of drivers.
even now takes a couple of tracks for tweeters to come on song.
do ribbons need to 'charge up'

They only need a minute or two but it is the main drivers which take running in, not the tweeter.

Has anyone any experience of the other S series quad speakers? the S4's look interesting to me as im considering a change this year.
