    Hi Mike and Grant.
Cheers for your comments, have just had 4 days without internet access (cheers Virgin Media, plenty of fibs from them) was like having your arms and legs missing
Have fancied the Audeze and Phonitor for a long time, and thought this would be my best chance of getting them.
I did buy them used and got them at reasonable cost. Both is 'As New' condition too.
As for the sound, I am massively pleased. I have in the past used Stax Sigma phones and SRM mk2 energiser, but these are something else.
Comfortable to wear and easy to listen to for long periods. They have a great sense of scale, spaciousness, and couple that with impact and delicacy when required. Fantastic range, from the very low to the very high frequencies.
If you get chance, give them a try

Well that's finally it, just had my last day at work today with Air Products at Port Clarence, Teesside
A real shame they shut us down, but those decisions were taken by the CEO and the BOD.
Said my good bye's and was gone by 11:00.

So now on to something new.
It's a bit of a career change, I will no longer be 'on the tools' as it's said. That will be the strangest part of my new direction.
My background for the last 36 years has been working with HV (high voltage) switchgear and motor drives, up to 132kV.
I have been the SAP (senior Authorised Person) on the site
From Monday I will be working for a company called 'The Faraday Centre' it is a local company that specialises in HV training and authorisation.
My new role is Senior Tutor taking the various HV courses. I have trained the Air Products site personnel in LV/HV operations, so training is not new to me.
I have also mentored apprentices and trained people in previous jobs too.
I am really looking forward to my new role and can't wait to get started and involved.
New people to work with and new trainees to interact with, looks like fun

Excellent news Andy. Took a course there a few years back myself. Manager seemed a knowledgeable guy (he worked for Japan Airlines if I remember correctly). Might be interested in organising an MV/HV course for some of the guys I work with later in the year, will let you know.

    Hi Guys

Cheers for your replies, much appreciated.
Was far more difficult than I thought, to say good bye to some of the lads and lasses, will miss them.
There was a great feeling of working together for a common purpose.

John, if you are dropping buy to the Faraday Centre for a course or 2. Let me know before hand.

While I remember, cheers for letting me write my thoughts down and you replies. It has been a good cathartic experience for me.
A nice way to put things down without tormenting friends with repeat conversations.
Will let you know how my first days go, should be great fun.
