    I used to love the buttons on my Teac VRDS 7. The were very industrial - reminded me of the large tape systems I used in a vibration laboratory in the 80s. Such a shame when the draw mechanism died.

    Yep, white buttons that illuminate are the best type.

    I like orange power on lights too. A power on light should always be orange, manufacturers take note.

    The Rega Planet MK1 CD Player has lovely looks. Well, to my eyes anyway! Gotta love the ''chargrilled'' pattern on the top.

    Old stereo receivers from the 70's with their long FM dials, weighted chrome knobs, and real tiny light bulbs inside. No lamps needed during a late night session, they filled the room with soft light. Those had class.
