Default FS: Fidelity Research FRT-3 MC Step Up Transformer

    Hi all,

I've not owned this very long. I wanted to see what all the fuss with SUT's is. I bought it from Walpurgis.

It's a very impressive unit and I was astonished at the difference it makes.

Since I bought a ZYX Cartridge I had my amp fettled to suit loadings and since then the SUT hasn't been in my system. I won't be letting the ZYX go so rather than leave the SUT on the sideboard I thought I'd give someone the chance to enjoy it.

    Here are some pics

I've replaced the RCA plugs with some Snake plugs, which I really like.

Quite oddly for me I have no NEED to sell it so I won't haggle or lower the price. It's a great piece of kit.

    Thanks

    Oliver.

Why not hang onto it Oliver?

You may think you'll not change your amp, but if eventually you do, you may well regret parting with the FRT-3. It's a damn good little unit and they're getting harder to come by and going up in value.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I suppose you're right Geoff. I did have that thought about 10 minutes after I refreshed the ad !

There's one on eBay for £195 !! I'm under selling it lol.

Yeah, I'll stick in a box and keep it.

    Withdrawn from sale !!
