Heard them put into a room, then taken out. I was very sceptical, they made a difference. I can't explain it and no it wasn't placebo. The difference, improvement was large and obvious.

Those taking the piss, go listen to the item in the OP then come back and share a valid opinion based on actually hearing it. If you haven't heard then I would suggest keeping snide, derisory comments to yourself.

I've tried Zilplex and Mooks. Both are useless.

I am not disputing the effects of room treatments but personally find a cheeseplant or some other architectural foliage to be more aesthetically pleasing and a darn sight cheaper!

I am afraid I get very tired of these lets slag and take the piss out of comments put forward by folks who haven't actually tried the thing they are taking the piss out of. Yes on the face of it looks like a nice piece of art, rather than something that might effect sound, but I haven't tried it so can offer no opinion. However I have heard something that might share a similar design ethic and it did make an improvement.

Oh no no no.... can't be doing anything like that

Obviously no matter what/how it sounds one thing it isn't is adding to the accuracy of the reproduced sound and so it is a bad thing.... even if it sounds "good".

It never ceases to amaze me the crackpot ideas some will try and foist on the world of audio... maybe that Buddhist bowl could hold snake oil though... a dab behind the ears before listening....

It's not a piece of Hi-Fi equipment and there's no way it can add 'fidelity'!
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I would think all it can do is react with/agin the soundwaves from the speakers. either adding to or transforming soundwaves. Fair chance its audible, although I am thinking its unlikely to be in a good way on paper. Might sound enough different to give a pleasant effect though to some.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

It's a bronze bowl on a stand and it costs over two thousand dollars. Even if it does 'do something' it is still priced outrageously. And I don't want to hear any bollocks about paying for the R&D. Someone who is loaded buy one and we'll pass it around, I'd give it a go. Thing is, even if it does work all it can do is alter the room acoustic and there are a million ways to do that that don't cost the thick end of two large.

A potted plant would probably be just as effective.
