Stanley, if its name were "Mystic" I would expect a generous clergy discount!
Don't want any mystical non-sense - just remote volume control and source switching.
And, if you could produce a no nonsense power amp in a simple brick to hide behind the telly that would be great. Lots of sophisticated grunt, but no fancy bits.
Caiman DAC Control Amp > Beresford Brick > Decent speakers.

Hi, just joined after reading a bit around here. I've got a 7510 6/4 that i've been thinking about getting modded or upgrading, so i was very interested to hear about this Caiman+ stanley, as I wouldn't need the USB connection. Especially as you mentioned a bunch of posts back that it outperforms a modded 7510. Any more news on this??
Thanks!
Off the back of that day (it was my Beresford DAC that was being used), I actually built myself a scaled down version of a Quadraspire stand using 5mm polished acrylic and spikes. I chose 5mm as the 10mm was simply too stiff given the weight of the DAC, and I chose to size the sheet to the same scale as a full size component on the Quadraspire.
I still use it now, and it has improved the sound. Plus it looks very nice.
