It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Stumbled across JahYu whilst on TIDAL last night. Good stuff - especially when you can download the below for free in .WAV format here.

Some other free stuff hanging around there too.

Whether it is reggae or not is another question. Bit of a dubstep element really and sounds a little Mad Professor in places. Great bass sounds on it, though.

Pretty much anything by Horace Andy is worth listening to.

Barrington Levy has done some great stuff too, especially the track murderer.

I've just picked up a copy of Rankin Toyan's How the west was won on vinyl, that's a great album.

I've got a huge roots/dub playlist on spotify I can share if you use it, there might be some things on it you like.

Default Resting Place - Burning Spear

When my system is up and running this is one that always gives my set up a good run out. Fab rhythm section, bass and horns behind the raw vocals of the Spear https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=91F5dgJehx4 find it on his classic Marcus Garvey album

Yes agreed, some great tracks on there!
“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”
