    Great recommendations!

This is gonna get expensive I think. So many I want to add to my own collection. So little cash. I'm making a Spotify playlist of them all and will share it here for us all to enjoy.
One of these days... I'm going to cut you into little pieces.

Hi Rich the mrs asked 'what kind of Reggae you guys are into ( she says hello to you both too). Like all other types of music not just all the same, so Roots, Rockers Lovers, Dub, Culture, Rocksteady, Toasting etc... Mrs just put on some Toasting, Papa levi. Not everyones cuppa, but reminds me of toasting parties used to go to years ago. Good times, but crazy times.

Out of 1500 plus originals albums, reggae remains my staple diet since childhood (alongside classic '70's soul)
so where do I start ? ......... here's just a few lp's I play time after time after time....

Dennis brown is prolific to say the least, but you wont go wrong with the following albums:

Wolf and Leopards - (Out and out Classic)
    Love Has Found it's Way
    The Prophet Rides again

    Burning Spear

Marcus Garvey (another out and out Classic, not a bad track on it)
    Dry and Heavy (Fab !)

    Max Romeo
    Reconstruction ( Quality !)

    Heptones
    Night Food (another classic)

    Freddie McGregor
    Big Ship (Classic)
Across the border ( a personal fave)
Love at First Sight ( quality )

Pass me the Rizzla. Pass me the herb. Get it on vinyl. The EQ is mad on the copy I have. I wonder if they messed it up as the digital copy doesn't sound anywhere near the same.

Playlist for above. Checkout the government unapproved track names https://www.youtube.com/playlist?lis...44F58BA7678D83

Greg's best must be on double vinyl IMHO. Too sterile otherwise. Takes a while to get into but the feeling running through is just fabulously chilled. The cool ruler no question.

Best Black Uhuru by far IMHO album is the first one. Again vinyl seems essential for it. Copy on ebay for £10.99 now. If you like BU BUY IT!!
