    Default Your favourite reggae albums.

Mrs B seems to be keen on me playing reggae at the moment. It seems to bring calm and chill into a fairly stressful life for her.

I've a reasonable amount in my collection but do feel free to suggest any gems which give you the irie vibes that I can play and maybe purchase for her. Whilst I tend to go for the more spaced out dub stuff her tastes are for more mainstream and vocal.

    Suggest away.
One of these days... I'm going to cut you into little pieces.

    First UB40 album. Sublime.
“Music has always been a matter of energy to me, a question of fuel. Sentimental people call it inspiration, but what they really mean is fuel. I have always needed fuel. I am a serious consumer. On some nights I still believe that a car with the gas needle on empty can run about fifty more miles if you have the right music very loud on the radio”

    The Paragons ‎– The Paragons

    Aswad - Live & Direct

    Gregory Isaacs - Night Nurse

Those are three obvious choices that she should enjoy.
If you want to get her into more dubby stuff, try these two :

Massive Attack v. Mad Professor - No Protection

Bob Marley - Dreams Of Freedom

She'll already know most of the stuff on those two, particularly the Bob Marley which happens to be one of my favourite albums of all time.
It's so chilled and I often listen to it if I've got a long drive ahead of me and just leave it on repeat .. it's simply beautiful.

    +1 for that UB40 one.

    I'll suggest these ones.

Scientist is a bit more tripped out but I couldn't not include it. Hope that helps.
