Default New book - The Garrard Story

In case anyone else is interested, a new book called 'The Garrard Story' has just been announced. It's a history of Garrard's turntable production in Swindon. Needless to say I've already ordered mine and it shall take pride of place on my bookshelf alongside Alan Cox's excellent history of BSR!

Ahem - to whoever moved this to the "Idle Vice" forum, Garrard made belt drive and direct drive turntables too, you know!

It is a logical association though.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Agreed - it was the idler drive 301 and 401 models that made Garrard's name. And it is those models that are still sought after by enthusiasts.
