Default Gary Moore CDs Rip issue

I've just bought 2 Gary Moore cds, Blues for Greeny and Still Got the Blues and my iMac spits them both out!

At first I thought my cd drive had developed a fault but it loads other CDs fine.

Are these protected? They don't appear to have any protection symbols or markings. Anyone else have any trouble with these?

    Cheers,

Do they have the Compact Disc logo anywhere on them or the packaging?
They might not be red book.

They are, I'm now thinking the drive is kaput and I just got lucky with the other couple of CDs I tried cos they don't load now. I'll try and get a lens cleaner in it to see if that helps.
