Default Mark Grant The Power Works Pro

Just received this from Mark Grant. Three outlets on this version.

Using it with this Oppo player:

First impressions are positive. The Oppo player has been in use for three months now, so is nicely bedded in. For a bargain-priced piece of equipment the Oppo is remarkably adept playing Red Book, SACD, DVD-A, DVD and Blu-Ray. And via the USB input, using a memory stick, is also very good, especially useful for background music.

However there is a trace of upper-mid hardness with CD, somewhat ameliorated when playing SACD. With the addition of The Power Works Pro this has disappeared and now there is a sense of space around singers and instruments that was missing before.

Bass is taut, not especially powerful, but not a trace of boom.

It can only get better as it beds in.

    Excellent!

Yep it does get even better. I've had one for quite some time now albeit the 2 socket version, it's an excellent bit of kit.
