I have a metre length of this interconnect which I simply can't make my mind up about it. I find it over smooth when used with my Firebottle phono stage. Let me know your thoughts.

What plugs are fitted to them Steve . I fit either Rhodium MS Audio , silver MS Audio . and gold plated plugs to these cables . All change the sonic character of the interconnects .

I use neutrik, snake and monster plugs lol they're different on each set and I just ordered these to try :

Sonically I haven't noticed any difference but they all have the same construction material I suppose. I'll let you know if the copper ones make any difference.

Bass can be a bit fruity...which may be exactly what your system needs.
As Brian says the silver plugs counter that somewhat.

The look like gold plated Neutrik connectors to me
I mainly use these cables, they gave me a big bold detailed and spacious sound . Better than much
Of what I had tried before.

Yes they look very much like Neutrik plugs . They're good enough plugs but the MC5000 cable and the MS Audio plugs are a very nice combination .
