Marco advised me to place the thread here. I am aware that this a DIY section and therefore it may be of interest to people with open and inquisitive minds what we do routinely when discriminating passive components that go into our products.

Do you object? I was in DIY myself for many years without having published much. Now, I feel is the time to catch up and let people know what I have been doing over the years.
