    I'm Shaun.

    Default John Foxx

I remember so well the album 'Metamatic' from way back then that when a colleague mentioned it a couple of weeks back I just had to follow it through. So, two hours later and a visit to Amazon and I had ordered and paid for the vinyl reissue. I have had it for a week or so and listened to it to see if it is as I remember and, I think that thirty odd years on, it is way better than I remember. Even now, it just sounds so bloody futurist, analogue synths and bleeps, Foxx's stone cold voicing and that very early drum machine. I am completely zoned by this vinyl copy and seriously appreciate it way more than I did when I was 21 years old. Oh the passing of time

I still have a 7' of underpass , or underpants as we called it, as it sounds like he is singing underpants. Going back to the synth bands, its the sound of the synths and early drum machines that now sound so much better to what i remember. Been playing some OMD, great synth sounds.
