    Default tweeter resistor help/advice

Hi I have replaced my blown md1000 tweeters in in Ditton 15xr with Morel mdt29 .
I am finding the Morel`s a nat`s dick too bright so I would like to brink them down just a tiny bit.Any idea what resistor size wise can I fit between the terminals to dampen them a touch .
The Ditton`s are 89db at 1metre and the Morels are 90db at 1metre so say the tech information that I have read.

    Cheers Gerry

Don't use just a resistor. You want an 'L' pad.

    Here's a calculator: http://loudspeakerfreaks.com/lpad_calc.asp

Or you can buy the 'pot' type and adjust as you go.

By the way, a 1db variation is inaudible, so the specs you have are out one way or the other.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
