    Always tempted by a bit of AN but buying that lot has wiped me out for time being, plans are to save up for an SJS phono stage that matches the power amp next year.

    Yep Lexus, I'm not a great believer in cables so the silver has never appealed, I'm currently using £3 per metre speaker cable but if it was good enough for Kondo San it's good enough for me

    I've never heard SJS amps, but I know a few people with 'good ears' who really rate them most highly, especially the phonostage. Will that be your next upgrade to complete the system, Chris?
    It's a shockingly good amp and with the pre I'd say it's into Border Patrol territory but a tad smoother but to me more engaging.

    Yes plans are to get an SJS phono stage next year.
