Default Wall mounting a pair of Wharfedale diamond 10.1 speakers?

My other half has dismissed any mention of floor standing speakers. However is agreeable to them being wall mounted! The speakers are wharfedale diamond 10.1s and brackets are available for £20 so why not. The current plan is to have them about 125cm high, 350cm apart, about 20cm away from corner in a medium sized room. Does anyone have any experience of wall mounting speakers? Is it a sensible option? Any words of wisdom would be gratefully appreciated!

Wall mounting smaller speakers can work OK, but I'd suggest having them as far from the corner as possible generally, otherwise the bass can get boomy.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Yeah I'm thinking 50cm away from corner would be a better option.

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”
