Most of the ICs require 3.3V to operate and considering that we have LDOs for filtering we need more than that.
    thanks

Ok, now I understand. Makes sense for the majority of people. Thanks for your answer.

    ATTENTION AOS MEMBERS

I have recently received the new DigiOne board from Andre.

Thing is, I can't really test it in my system so this is something now open to AOS members.

If anyone is interested please PM me.

Here are the details of the board:

A small review of this would be great.

if you are interested, please get in touch.

I'm really surprised no-one has taken up your offer yet. I certainly would, but having sold my Meridian Director I too have no DAC with a SPDIF input.

    Hello Emmings,
Glad to see that you will be testing the Digione, can you please share with us your set up ?
Please use this special version of Volumio
    http://updates.volumio.org/pi/volumi...-10-pi.img.zip

Let me know if you have other questions.

    Andre

    PS:
So we sent the ISOLATOR board to Black Adder for review but we also have the USBridge transporter unit. Any USB DACs out there ??

    Hi,

I'd be interested in the USBridge Transporter, my TQ Claymore amp has a built in USB DAC and I'm looking for an easy way to use Spotify into that input via Volumio/Spotify Connect and the USBridge looks ideal.

Is it one complete unit or would I need a Sparky or Pi to add the bridge to?
