The hardware is essentially identical APART from the room correction. Lyngdorf uses an automated system called Roomperfect, while the Tact devices use a software-based solution that allows user input. Some prefer the automated correction, others prefer the tweakability of the Tact approach.

In any case, both preamps allow a huge amount of optimisation, particularly when used with a subwoofer or two, or in an active multi-driver setup. I use a Lyngdorf TDAi2200 and it is a wonderful piece of kit.
