FS: OL Encounter Arm

Origin Live Encounter mkI

This arm fits Rega geometry but has no Rega parts so it’s not one of OL’s tuned up Regas – it’s very much better that those! I replaced a Michell TechnoArm with this OL Encounter (which I’ve owned from new). The Encounter has much more life than the TechnoArm and indeed any Rega based arm. It is a seriously good arm.

All the original packing and manuals are included. Note the arm is as standard which means it has Eichmann bullet phonos. The arm is in very good condition with just a couple of minor marks (see the photos).

Rear of the arm

Note the very slight marks on the top edge of the plate supporting the arm (towards the righthand side of the pic). The white line on the lefhand side of the plate is a hair, not a scratch.

I used to have one of these and can confirm it it a very fine arm. So fine in fact that I regretted selling it and bought the previous model (Silver Taper) and have not changed it for 3 years which is good going for me.
