    Default Pioneer DV-717 DVD/CD Player/Transport

I am selling my 'spare' Pioneer DV-717

I kept this player in case my other 717 went kaput, however that seems very unlikely as they are built so well, so here it is

I use my other 717 as a transport into the AN Dac and very good it is

This is in pretty good condition considering the age, but not perfect

There is no remote included and that's how I purchased it

I can supply a copy of the manual if required

Like my other 717 this works perfectly, they never seem to miss a beat

I don't have the box for this player so pick up only please from sunny Portsmouth

How does £40 sound? or open to reasonable offers

Oh my god! There's nothing wrong with the bidet is there?

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

I have 2. The power supply failed on one and you can't get them. Fixing a switch mode PS will cost more than a new(old) player. You might want to keep it Bev

Excellent transports and players. I use one as a CD transport.

No need to keep spares in my view as they are still readily available on eBay should it conk out.

    Back up for sale..

I have a need for some cash for something 'completely different' (not hifi related!)
