What great kit, sadly I haven't a clue to value but I would bet that shipping the two decks from South Africa would be quite prohibitive. The cartridge and Audio-Technica arm would post quite reasonably.

What sort of money are you looking for, as I think that would be the best starting point.

Hi Clive - that is exactly what I am looking for a valuation as I have looked on E-bay and some other sites but have not come across anything like this that has never been used! Just an update the TD125 is the version without the tone-arm.

    Thanks

Is the TD125 a Mk1 or Mk2 and is it in it's plinth or is it just the motor unit?

    The systemdek around £150 - £200.
    Shure cart around £120 - £150
    AT arm £250 - £350

Having said that , if you sell on ebay then expect the unexpected as prices vary hugely and also the shipping costs will be expensive so may result in a lower selling price.

Since the items are new and unused, I would expect the following:

    Thorens 125 Mk.II in plinth ~£400

Audio Technica AT 1100 arm ~£200

    Shure V15 Mk.IV MDR ~£250

You probably will be able to get more, depending on how and where you advertise the goods - especially the Shure cartridge.

I don't really know much about the Systemdeck, save a friend of mine has one, so maybe ~£200.

Zero chance of £400 for the td125 with no arm shipped from SA. The bog standard 125 plinth is terrible and the controller board WILL need to be serviced, the caps will be shot. Probably make more from selling it as parts rather than as a whole.

I would say the same might be the case with the Dunlop, signs of a damp issue maybe with the mat.

My figure was an estimate taken from recent sales on eBay. The fact that it is unused significantly increases its value; buyers will already understand the need for a service, so that will have little bearing on the sale price.

Just look at the sale prices for NIB Garrard 301/401s and Thorens 124s
