    How do you do this wirelessly , I've got a USB cable out of laptop into my NAD M51 DAC , is there a small thingy () I can plug into the DAC and recieve all the PC sounds , the router is nearby btw.

    You could use foobar2000 on pc with the bubbleupnp plugin, then send it or cast it to a chromecast audio disc, and into the stereo. sends flac etc seemlessly. I just set it up myself and works very well.. use bubble android on a tablet to view and control etc. all free too, bar buying the ccast which aint expensive. took no real knowledge either as itwas really almost plug n play

    Slow down Grant you lost me at the Bubblegum , I want all PC sounds to play be it files/youtube etc. I don't have a smart phone or tablet.

    you will need to have something to gather the info from the router. some dacs do have this capabliity. Its not as simple as my idea but, again you want to do a different thing... I would suggest a longer cable. Ive done laptop via usb to spdif tos and then long cable to dac. depends on ow long though. certainly 5 metres would likely be ok; maybe a bit more. Not sure how far coax goes but might do...

    As in: "I want anything I do on my PC with sound sin it to come through my stereo" ?

    If that's the case, you need to set your default sound output to your USB/DAC, including system sounds if you want those bells and beeps there too - I don't.

    Yes I've done that and it works with a cable , I want to do it wirelessly.
