Whats your first name ? What system do you have/use and what kind of music do you like?

I used to live in Douglas. I liked the island but the winter shut down was very dramatic to say the least.

    Well that's short and sweet.

Actually 'selfaddict', do you have a first name? We like to use first names here on AoS - it makes for a more friendly forum.

Also, can you tell us what sort of music you enjoy and what you play it on?

    Welcome to AoS anyway!

You might be treading dangerous ground in asking that question!

Hello again to all of you friendly people.

First name is Juha and in deed from Isle of Man.
My system is after very resent big buy and sell activity on and off line:

    Luxman L-505u integrated amplifier
Funk Vector TT with Roksan Nima unipoint tonearm(+HD cable) Koetsu Black cartridge(not with me just yet)
    Dali Helicon 800 speakers

So purely analog system, I just need to find a nice phono stage for my system next. Luxman has really really nice internal MM / MC phono stage, but after listening my system via my friends The Balanced Audio Technology VK-P5 , I "saw the light" and just wanted moore.

Music taste is "anything goes" -department, all depending the mood myself or my 100 sidepersons happnes to be :-)

    Hello Juha,

Thanks for that. Regarding the Balanced Audio Technology VK-P5, Neil ('Dalek Supreme D L') is a fan of BAT designs and I'm sure will concur with your impressions.

Nothing wrong with that, though I'm not quite sure what you mean by 'sidepersons' - Fellow listeners?

Evening Juha. Good system there and I'd love to read more about your turntable experiences and how the Funk with Nima is working. The Koetsu Black should balance it beautifully I reckon...
