    Nice work Alan, go the whole hog and remove those front bolts.

    Simon sq, what would you suggest? I suppose dome head bolts would look good, the fitted ones came with the enclosures.

    Simon LDT, the sound is better than the AIR, in the areas you would expect with a move to monoblocks.
    I am rather glad I took the trouble, the bass is more dynamic, the channel separation is better and the image is clearer

    I like the bolts that you have, give it a slight industrial feel.

    Well that's it then Kevin, off the menu for you

    There is plenty of room to put the valve inside the case actually but I put them on the top for the aesthetics.
    After realising that the heater was visible over its full length with these single triodes I also orientated the valve so the heater was visible from the front

    I am only talking incremental gains of performance, so enjoy what you have
