cheers for that,for someone who has just spent the weekend pissing about with a microscope trying to get the golden 92 degrees sra angle id be interested in the smart stylus sra/vta tool,how does it work?

Good question. I am about to start pissing around with a microscope too, for the same reason. The SMARTstylus provides a reference against which the cantilever angle can be assessed, but that rather assumes the tip is always fixed at the same angle in all cases. It does also have useful horizontal alignment lines for setting azimuth and for levelling an arm tube.
