Wont catch Dons this year I fear. Its possible but unlikely, and wont make any difference to Europe. Third is enough. Yup, although that's not what I meant. In order to get near Celtic next season, and challenge them, Rangers will *first* have to overcome Aberdeen - and that won't be an easy task either. Much will depend on how much investment is made in the team in the summer.
That will be a hard game for us, for a number of reasons, so no guarantees there. Plus, having now won the league, it's a matter of keeping the momentum going, which is easier said than done...We still have a tilt at cup, and on a 1v1 its a possible.
Key players will no doubt be rested for the remaining league games, so it's up to their replacements to shine and try and ensure that the team remain unbeaten for the rest of the season, whilst allowing the key players in question their rest.
Yup, Brendan has been total quality and fantastic manager, and the good news for us is that he's not driven purely by money either.Celtic have been consistently the best side again and its shown especially with the new manager, because its mostly the same squad.
Some are saying he'll move on now to a wealthier club, and/or back to the Premiership, but I don't buy that at all, as you have to remember that he's a lifelong Celtic fan, on a mission, so he'll be here to win us 10-in-a-row, and with it, enter the history books as a Celtic legend.
Plus during that time, create extended runs in the Champions League, before he goes anywhere - trust me!
Very exciting times are ahead for Celtic fans, and worrying times too for the rest of the teams in the SPL, as the reality is that, for the foreseeable future, Celtic are only going to get better and better....
