Interesting, Grant. Thought Chelsea would've been nearer the top than that... No surprise about Celtic, as we're a huge fish in a teeny-tiny pond, so as long as that state remains the same, so will our financial position.
However, just imagine *if* (and I know it's a big if) one day Celtic were granted entry either into the Premiership or some sort of Euro super-league, exclusively for previous European Cup winners and/or teams with great history and massive worldwide fan bases/home supports, what would their earning potential/financial position be THEN??

Aye, the lads a good un. Hope he doesnt become injury prone; always a concern with young players who do well early and get a bad injury. Fortunately Celtic dont NEED him playing anytime soon so wont push him if they have any sense.
As for getting into England, its not gonna happen. A Euro league system, is a distant possibility I guess. But as you see, financially Scottish sides are way down pecking order and thats how it will no doubt go. The rich turkeys never vote for xmas.

I agree, but there's no doubt that Celtic would be a genuine asset to any elite European league, simply because they'd make money for everyone else there, through the sheer size of their fan base, and if they became more successful after gaining entry to such a league, that fan base would only get bigger!
It's defo all about money, no doubt, but in the right environment Celtic would *generate* as much cash as any of the biggest teams, which is why I think they deserve to be in such a league. Essentially, Celtic just need to get out of the goldfish bowl that is the SPL, and into some [any] kind of other major league that befits their status as a football club, and great things could happen to them.
The reality is they could leave their reserve team to play in the SPL, and they'd still be up challenging at the top, plus it would give all the other teams there (including Rangers) a realistic chance of winning the title. For me, it just makes sense on every level.
