Default FS: Mordaunt Short Pageant Series 2 speakers

The clear out continues. Here we have a scruffy set of lovely sounding classic speakers. These have lots of scuffs and scratches on the cabinets, and one switch doesn't work in one position - it causes the speaker to cut out completely. The easiest workaround is to keep the switch up and all works fine!

These sound great, but I've moved on. Grab yourself a bargain! I don't have any boxes for these, so it's collection only.

I'd like £40 firm for these please. Please note I do have them for sale on Gumtree for slightly more.

That's nice. Slightly irrelevant to this thread, though.

Well, I'm selling some speakers, and you are looking for some different speakers. Normally I would expect responses to this thread to be about the speakers for sale, rather than speakers that you're looking for.

For what it is worth, these are superb sounding speakers at a nice price!

Back in the day, the Isophon tweeters were considered by some to be better than the Kef T27.
I'm also led to believe that the Mordaunt Short mid/bass unit (D208) was looked at by several commercial speaker builders for it's qualities.

I've heard the Pageant range sound excellent when using Naim amps.

    Good luck with the sale.

These are still available. Still collection only. Would take £30 for them if anyone is interested.
Ugh. Photobucket no longer works. I'll dig around see what I need to do... and the answer is Imgur!!
