There's no correct way but it will be different and you might prefer it.

I use mine with the tweeters on the outside but, as above, there is no right or wrong (it's certainly worth trying both). Glad you are enjoying these wonderful speakers (interesting stands and speaker grills too).

I was always told that if you lay down your speakers tweeters are placed at the outside.

I think with bridge monitors tweeters are supposed to be on the inside edge.

Well the Yamaha sales literature does indeed show the tweeters on the inner side .

The serial numbers on mine end in an R on one and an L on the other. Assuming these markings mean Left and Right it would suggest tweeters on the outside.
