Default Mala's humble rack of joy in the attic

Finally got around to take some up-to-date photos of my setup, I did what I could with my iPhone 6, so bear with me

    Lets spill the beans then!

I can't get enough of these old Sony ES designs..and the build is extraordinary..not to mention the weight alone.

I recently brough this tank of a CD-player back to life by swapping the entire laser module (lucky find a couple of years ago)

My latest addition to the rack, does not need any further introduction I think. Upgrades incoming!

Ortofon 2M Black doing the dirty work.

If you watch closely above the closest cover, you can spot a Moth taking a nap for the evening (and yeah you can see the frame hinges, I will have to swap them out at a later time)

    Hi Kjell
Where did you source that Turntable lid from?

Nice smart system. I like that.

(I have one of those lids by the way. Or at least one that looks identical. Still new in box. Iconic Audio)

Quite happy with that lid. Affordable and beautifully crafted

Never studied the joints that carefully, but I will take a look when I come home

Just checked my lid, and the joints looked pretty damned perfect in my eyes

Walpurgis: No problem, now he got two positive confirmed lids

That Rotel box will have to go ...when everything else is black, including the cartridge.

I like black equipment. Most of my gear is black. I find it more subtle than gleaming silver boxes.
