Default Wanted - suggestions for Sl1210 feet and mat

    Hey folks,

I'm hoping that some of you may have some Sl1200 bits and bobs sitting unloved and unwanted in a draw or cupboard somewhere that maybe you might consider moving on.

I'm looking for some upgraded isolation feet and a TT platter mat to replace the slipmat that came with mine.

Will consider anything that has a proven track record of improving the sound of the deck so please let me know what you have.

    Thanks in advance

    cheers,

    Ben

Feetwise, if you want something cheap and cheerful you could try 4 of something like these I've linked to with an M6 thread.

I would council against. My own experience regarding the Origin Live version + cork footers, these suck the life out of the deck, and veil the sound. Best feet in my experience (though others mileage may vary) is Isonoes

Not to my ears but hey ho, but why spend £5 when you can spend £100. I'd rather someone try it and make their own mind up.

I have tried both, and frankly the damage to the sound made by the foot you propose is £5 wasted re getting to the Isonoe.

This thread might be better in Technipedia where proposals can be debated. Would you like that Ben ? It might help you focus your quest.

So since someone challenges you it now needs to be moved and debated? You were the one who weighed in with nothing constructive other than an argument of 'because you know better'

Hardly, the for sale section isn't for debates normally so I was suggesting to Ben that it could be moved, if he wanted it to be, then I am happy to oblige.

Hi guys thanks for the comments so far.

I've seen the feet mentioned above but am not keen on them from a looks perspective ( I know I know lol) I was hoping for something a bit chunky / industrial looking but thanks anyway.

Happy for the thread to be moved if it promotes more discussion and possible offers!

    Cheers again

    Hi Ben

Yes it might, but I was thinking it gives folks the room and I guess the permission to make suggestions and debate them. Its normally AoS policy that sales/wanted threads aren't for such.

    Moved.
