After almost 4 months I found it , that dreaded sweet spot . Yes every thing just seemed to pop into place, it's like catching your breath after almost drowning if you know what I mean , everything just opened up ,example extended highs great mids tight bass it just so much clearer and better . It's like someone had just opened the window( me)haha. Thank again some of the members for their input and help. Cheers and thank you.

Great to hear you got it nailed Con. It is worth the perseverance as it is a truly excellent cartridge when set up just right and in the right system. This cartridge will tell you everything you need to know on those black discs.

That's great news Con, glad you stuck with it, I actually thought you were gonna bail out and move it on.
It can drive you literally mad but most definitely worth it

I track at 1.6g. I found it best to run it towards the heavier end of its tracking weight as it does help if you have any vinyl pressings with a bit if sibilance on them.

Hi guys just a quick roundup on my 2 m black setting . I've got it on 1.6 gr VTA IS AT 3.7 mm please be advised that I am using 6mm thick crystal glass platter ,that's for anyone using a stock techie arm and a thick platter ,their best place to start would be between 3.4&4.2 mm VTA with small movement up and down and suddenly you go what was that? You will hear a deference, and that's when you really know you found it. But be very very sure the cartridge is set up spot on on the protractor ( Stevenson- Qwin). Thanks again.

I always start at the recommended tracking weight so 1.5gm when I had the 2MB.
After everything else has been done, I then vta adjusted where I've always found that '2MB sweet spot'.
I'm sure whenever I've nailed it tracking force would have been somewhere in between the 1.5 and 1.6
