At that price what's not to like. If you don't like them sell them on, or chop them up for firewood.

If they sound anything like the 762i, which was the next model down in the range, then firewood would be the best option!

Decent speaker at right price. Only need 20 good watts or so to run well. £30 if in good nick is fine

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Thanks for everyone's comments on these, in the end passed them by , when first seen in local charity shop they were on a high shelf (bit mad given size and weight) and no one was around to get them down anyway had a look next day and had suffered bad bash to rear corner ( probably as a result of trying to get them onto a high shelf) also the majority of the binding posts were bashed off so decided not to risk it. Not really my style anyway and was the price that interested me first.
    Thanks

Lucky escape there then. Quacky cone colourations and crude treble are not my sort of thing!
