Default For sale Leak 20 stereo valve amplifier + pre amp (UK)

I visited this forum regularly for a while about 3 years ago after inheriting some hi-fi equipment from my father and I intended to buy a nice pair of speakers but work got in the way and recently I realised I am never likely to buy those speakers or find adequate time to indulge this hobby until I retire, so this is a reluctant sale of an amplifier that always produced a superb sound in the past.

The item in question is a Leak stereo 20 valve amplifier + pre amp that has not been used in a few years and I have no way at present to test it myself, however I did send some photos by email to a couple specialists who service valve amplifiers and they seemed to think it should work fine, since it had already been modernised. One said there may be one part that occasionally needs replacing but it only costs about £10.

I am really not an expert in these things but I know the Leak 20 is a bit of classic and highly rated. The pre amp was provided by the specialist who originally overhauled the amplifier and I doubt it would require much explanation on this forum with one dial for the volume and another for the input. In addition there are cables and half a dozen spare valves including couple of Mullard. Most of these look completely unused and they were still boxed when I was given the amplifier.

It appears to have the original paint finish with some signs of use but with a little work it could look really pristine. I'm adding plenty of images below and I would welcome any questions or indeed feedback. I live in Cornwall (UK) so if anybody wanted to see the amplifier in person that could be organised. Feel free to message me as well. I've seen similar combinations in good working condition advertised on eBay for around £900 without the spare valves, so I thought £650 would be very fair. Hopefully the photos below show everything clearly.

    Thanks

Just a quick follow up. I think it would be too complicated dealing with foreign sales so I would rather limit this to the UK. I can arrange insured courier but would also welcome pickup in person.

Thanks James, this is a very reluctant sale on my part since my father had this for many years and I always envisaged myself sitting back to enjoy the dulcet, mellifluous tones but the realities of my working life mean the one thing I can never count on is spare time.

Enjoy the new motorcycle and I imagine that sounds pretty good as well

I've just had a look on the blue cables and there is a tag that says "Kimber Kable" but I am not sure about the KC-1. Is there some way to tell this?

I've just Google Kimber KC-1 cables and they appear to be two-tone gold and stainless steel, whereas mine is all gold in appearance.
