    Default Technics 1200 Height adjustment

    Hello,

I recently got a technics 1200 mk II from a friend and there are a couple of issues with it.
First, the cue lever doesn't work and I was told by my friend that it's an expensive procedure
to fix it so I forgot about it and cue by hand.

The height adjustment wheel is stuck and this is something that needs to be fixed especially if I want
to use a cork mat that I bought before checking that the vta doesn't work. Now I wouldn't like to spend
money on it if it is an easy task to do on my own so I would like your advice on it.

I found this video on youtube and I'd like to ask you if it is safe for me to try and do it.

It's easy enough to do the height adjustment.
If you can solder, you can fix the cue lever while you are in there. To do this, you need to disconnect the arm leads from the PCB. The most difficult part is feeding the arm wires back through afterwards.
