How's the bass in your room? They can certainly kick it out. At Scalford (in an admittedly sub-optimal room) we struggled to control it.

Bass seems pretty much under control in my room with the aid of strategically placed GIK acoustic panels. They simply play music. Inspired by Gromit i have just bought some Q acoustic 3020 speakers for my AV system and find them exceptional. I agree with what you say about the Heco's, they are very special.

Excellent, Steve. I'd certainly rate them in the 'high SPPV' category, for a modern product - not exactly cheap, but you do get a lot of speaker for your money
