    Guys,
There have been discusions on fuses here a few times over the years,[Do a search if interested] In my experience, yes, fuses do make a diffrence, after-all, they are the weakest link in the power supply, which is what they are designed to be!
However, again, from my own personal, and profesional experience, so-called HI FI fuses, and the use of, should be treated with absolute Caution!

    Mainly the expense!
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

They do sell for even more but wether they work or improve sound quality is highly subjective and probably system dependant.

Like all things price does not always equate to better SQ.

There are so many fuses to replace in a system its finding the ones that make a difference and it might be you have to change them all to get a difference and is that difference better?

Can be expensive and possibly frustrating.

    Aye,
As others have said, certain types of ordinary ones are worth trying, as long as you keep to the correct type ie; S, T, F, and current rating etc.

Also it's worth keeping in mind fuses age over time especially the closer they are run to their maximum rating. I see no harm once in a while replacing fuses with standard types, mains, psu supply rail or o/p ones. It costs little apart from your time and if it improves the sound then you have lost nothing and gained a bit...
