    Interestingly, quite the opposite has happened in my local Sainsbury's (Cheadle, Stockport). It's reduced down to a little cardboard stand, jammed in wherever there's a bit of spare space, with about a dozen titles.

    There is a cardboard stand in my local Sainsburys, which is how it started, but they also now have some shelves above the cd's as well as a small shelf with maybe 8 titles near the store entrance. Probably only 30-40 or so titles but better than the 10-12 or so when they started a couple of years ago.

    I agree that vinyl ought to be black - I have a few coloured and picture discs and they all seem to have more surface noise.

    I didn't know Nick Drake made music. I remember him from the sixties, quite funny - he couldn't say Mr Pewe, used to say Mr Poo. Always cracked me up.
