    Default Zyx cartridges

Just bought a used Zyx r100 yatra cartridge how would i tell if it's the high output version or the low output version are there defining marks on the carts to identify the different versions.

I wouldn't worry. I doubt you'd hear the difference between them. They are both proper low output MCs. It's just that the non 'H' version has even lower output. I have a low output R100 and an R100 H2 with higher output. If there's a difference in levels, it's not obvious in use. They both work fine with my SUTs and phono stage.

There should be an 'H' on the cartridge. If it's higher output. But don't bank on it. ZYX are a bit funny about marking and labelling. My R100 H2 came in a non H2 box.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Get it set up right and you won't believe how good the Yatra is. You'll be gobsmacked!
