Quite like a wander round a good supermarket but not Tesco etc. Still it has to be done and it's not an issue for me personally.
Prefer to pick my own food anyway

Oh my god! There's nothing wrong with the bidet is there?
“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".
“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”
"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”
“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

Bras from a supermarket? Classy chick, lol!
When we go to supermarkets, which isn't always the case (as we like using local farm shops and small independents for a lot of our food), we do it one 'quick swoop'.
A list is made beforehand of exactly what we need, and which is rarely deviated from. We get in there and out, ASAP, or I go when Del's at work, mid-morning on a week day, when the place is empty, and the exercise isn't repeated again for another week!
Non-food shopping is a different matter, particularly if it's for something we're both interested in, such as for the house, antiques, artwork or whatever, or the garden, then we'll often drive somewhere, which facilitates that (such as Shrewsbury or Liverpool), have lunch and make a day of it - now that is always a pleasurable experience
Marco.

A mate used to make me laugh. He'd describe less attractive women as having 'a face like a dog's bum with a hat on'.

Think it was Les Dawson describing his ma in law as having 'a face like a bag of chisels'.
There was a girl I knew who drank quite a lot and it showed. I used to describe her face as looking like 'three pound of sausages'.
'A face like a bulldog licking piss off a thistle'
