Sort of, but he came from Poland before WW2, very poor out there, so nothing could be wasted here including food on my plate.

    Invalid carriages.

    And Bond three wheelers.

I remember getting a regular lift to work in a Bond in the sixties. Funny little thing it was. Did the job though.

It's essentially a motorbike with a cage wrapped around it, isn't it? Might be fun to 'pimp'!

The Bond had a 200cc Villiers two stroke bike engine if I recall. Top speed was about 40mph.

Bet you wish you still had it, worth big money now.

My one was red, painted by hand in house gloss. I rubbed it down, sprayed sealer, primer, many coats of gloss black, bored engine out to 350cc. Was a great little car. could top 70 MPH,

“Nothing discloses real character like the use of power. It is easy for the weak to be gentle. Most people can bear adversity. But if you wish to know what a man really is, give him power. This is the supreme test. It is the glory of Lincoln that, having almost absolute power, he never abused it, except on the side of mercy".

“You see these dictators on their pedestals, surrounded by the bayonets of their soldiers and the truncheons of their police ... yet in their hearts there is unspoken fear. They are afraid of words and thoughts: words spoken abroad, thoughts stirring at home -- all the more powerful because forbidden -- terrify them. A little mouse of thought appears in the room, and even the mightiest potentates are thrown into panic.”

"You don't have free will. You have the appearance of free will.”

“There's a war out there, old friend. A world war. And it's not about who's got the most bullets. It's about who controls the information. What we see and hear, how we work, what we think... it's all about the information!”

And the two Mk.I Jags I had. And the Mini Cooper. And the 3.0 Capri Ghia. Even my three Opel Manta GTE's would fetch a bob or two now.

The Latin teacher at my old prep school used to run around in one of those. He was Spanish, so we rather unkindly referred to it as the "Dagomobile". This was years before political correctness!
