I drove the Isetta hard, for several years, never managed to turn it over, one slow drive in a Reliant (one wheel at front), almost rolled it, terrible.

The early (and current) Morgan three wheelers have two wheels at the front.

That would tick the boxes I guess. I don't see how it would be simpler to turn one wheel than two, though.

Less complicated linkage? No need for Ackerman (?) geometry.

The Isetta 3 and 4 wheelers did not need a differential, the 4 wheeler's rear two wheels were quite close together. The Reliants had a differential.

Loved the episode of OFAH when Rodney was trying to outrun a gang of yobs in the Reliant - threw his fag out nonchalantly to impress the girl forgetting the window was up!
Also the Top Gear where Clarkson rolled one - might have been improved if a double decker had suddenly appeared travelling at high speed and ran straight over the top of him.

I've had several Mantas, a very early B series, a couple of GTEs and the last one was a GTE hatchback with an Opel Monza 3 litre straight 6 engine and a low ratio gearbox. Top speed was only around 100 mph but the acceleration was incredible, I remember embarrassing a 911 owner at the traffic light grand prix.

Think I'll dig out some Marion Ryan and Vince Hill to bung on the gramophone. Actually, some Dorothy Squires might do.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!
