    In the late 50's and 60's, I tended towards being a vegetarian, was generally thought of as not normal.

    I've always largely been a non meat eater. Not a veggie as such. Just not keen on meat. And anyway, if I can get through the day without something having to die just to fill my plate, so much the better!

    The old man forced me to eat roast beef and mutton when I was a nipper. I'd get a belt when I spat out lumps of disgusting, chewy gristle. In the end he gave up trying to make me eat the stuff.

    Got some in the freezer right now for the grand kids. The modern ones are half the size of the originals, still taste the same though.

    i was a big meat eater when younger; didnt like gristle tho... dont eat much meat now as it doesnt agree so much now. chicken and fish more and still like a bit of mince and onions and mash
