That's a better one, and IMO likely to generate a more realistic result... I did it and got this:

However, there's no doubt for me that thinking young, helps keep you young! Plenty of time to be an old fart when you've got no other choice.

Having children seems to make people 'old'. I guess it is the responsibility. Although it doesn't affect everyone. I've got a mate who has 3 of them and he is still as daft now as when I first knew him. Although in fairness I think he let his wife do most of the work.

I completely agree, although for reasons that you correctly point out, I'd add the word "some", or perhaps even "many", to your above statement, as it doesn't affect everyone. However, among those so afflicted, I find that most are women.

It's as if, once they've popped out a sprog, all the fun that they once had, and most importantly, key traits of their personality, which made them *who* they were, and which attracted them to you in the first place, suddenly get sucked out in the process, and the fun-loving girl you once knew, full of adventurousness and joy, turns into this po-faced, moody mare, who's 'old before her time' - and worse, becomes more demanding and temperamental than ever!

I've seen it happen all too often to people I know...

I simply couldn't cope with it, as I couldn't live with anyone like that, especially when they try to 'mould'/change you into who THEY want you t be, rather than who you are, as often witnessed with the WAF nonsense, discussed on hi-fi forums [folks being FORCED into selling their gear once 'Junior' has been born - why, God only knows]. And yes, it can work the other way round, too.

Kids should bring couples closer together, not drive them apart, and both the men and women in a relationship should fundamentally remain as the same people [none of this 'Jekyll and Hyde' transformation bollocks] after they've become parents. It's no bloody wonder there are so many divorces/break-ups....!
