    Could try a Connoisseur BD1. Some of those had a tendency to run backwards.

    I like them. Ticks all the boxes for me, in terms of having that retro charm. A wee bit of resto to the cabs, and they'd be lovely!

    Preamps: Heavily-modified Croft Charisma-X. LDR Stereo Coffee. Power Amps: Tube Distinctions Copper Amp fitted with Tungsol KT-150s. Quad 306.

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

    picked this up today, stripped it out of its wooden box ready for some tlc looks like it's got some Mullard caps and it's complete which is a bonus

    I'd be all over that micro Seiki if I wasn't already perfectly happy with what I have, bet it goes for under a grand.
