When I started full-time in '75, the XP's had just been launched. I don't remember us selling the previous ones in 1974 when I started part-time although we did have the original Ditton 15's before the XR's. If I can find the pics I took (hopefully of just the speaker stack we had in the "budget" demo room), I'll try and identify the suspects

ROLL UP, ROLL UP... Ending this eveing.

I have some nice valves available... Recently got some spares which cost me a fair packet.

Quad of Mullard EF86 valves - NOS in 1994

Pair of BRIMAR 6AS7G - BVA valves - NOS in 1994

Been in storage since 1998. Very light useage. Bought them with my Croft Quad II's amplifier.

No under-crackers then Joe? Valves sell well on eBay with under-crackers pics

Ooo luvverly - a Threshold S300 150wpc power amp has just come up. If I hadn't just bought my luvverly Parasound A21 amp I may well have gone for this!

The Parasound by John Curl or the Threshold by Nelson Pass? Nice decision to have!

Oooooh, thick front panel and loads of heatsinks - must be good

Actually, even by today's standards, a classic methinks, although how it would be performing thirty years on I don't know - the buyer would have to be prepared for an expensive service at some point down the road...

One of the few amps I ever wished that I had owned is the Pioneer M25.
But at that price I shall have to pass.
