    Been a few times to Cob there, and also in Bangor, before it closed. Good shop, but as is often the case with some of these places, a lot of what they sell is grossly overpriced, and they're not big on giving discounts.

    Anto, next time you're in Wrexham, check out Moonlight Records, in Bridge St. Brian's a top bloke and always up for a deal!

    Turntable: Heavily-modified Technics SL-1210MK5G [Mike New bearing/ETP platter/Paul Hynes SR7 PSU & reg mods]. Funk Firm APM Achromat/Nagaoka GL-601 Crystal Record Weight/Isonoe feet & boots/Ortofon RS-212D/Denon DL-103GL in Denon PCL-300 headshell with Funk Firm Houdini/Kondo SL-115 pure-silver cartridge leads.

    Preamps: Heavily-modified Croft Charisma-X. LDR Stereo Coffee. Power Amps: Tube Distinctions Copper Amp fitted with Tungsol KT-150s. Quad 306.

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

    Cheers Marco. I rarely stroll down the high Street in Wrexham ,as you may know ,my visits tend to be up the Mold Road direction in search of a in the Turf and an afternoons footie ,before buggering off back to England ,for the milking !!!
    But I shall bear that in mind !!
    I only ride 'em, I don't know what makes 'em work
